Mimi's Chicken

8 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 c Italian dressing (Newman's preferred)
1 package dry onion soup mix
1 15 oz can crushed tomatoes
1/2 lb fresh sliced mushrooms
3 bay leaves
1/2 teas basil
1/2 teas oregano
fresh grated parmesan cheese

1. Place thawed chicken in 9x13 pan
Sprinkle tomatoes, mushrooms & bay leaves over top.

2. Mix Italian dressing with soup mix, basil & oregano. Pour over chicken.

3. Bake at 350* for 1 hour uncovered, basting frequently.

4. Serve over fettucine or egg noodles with fresh parmesan sprinkled over top.
