Debbie's Chicken Noodle Soup
1/2 onion diced
4 Tab butter
6-8 cooked chicken breasts diced
2 c water
3- 14 oz chicken broth
Salt & Pepper to taste
1 tea crushed sweet basil
1 bay leaf
4 carrots sliced
4 celery ribs sliced
1 8 oz frozen egg noodles (or dry noodles work)
1 6 oz frozen sugar snap peas
Saute onion in butter
Add chicken & cook 2 minutes
Add all the rest except noodles & Peas
Simmer 45 minutes
Add noodles & boil - cook till tender.
Add peas & heat - then serve
