Biscuits

2 cups flour
1 Tbls baking powder
1/4 tsp almond extract (Dad's secret ingredient-- CAUTION: only addif you love almond flavored biscuits)
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup shortening
3/4 cup milk

1. Mix dry ingredients, cut in shortening with pastry blender, add almond and milk, stir till pulls together.

2. Knead until smooth. Roll to 3/4 inch thick. Cut 3" rounds and place on greased sheet, bake at 450* for 8 minutes.
